For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved being creative – and it’s this passion that eventually led me to my profession.
After graduating from high school, I wanted to give my creativity a solid foundation and chose to study at Fahmoda – Academy of Fashion and Design in Hanover, where I learned the essential skills
of the trade.
There, I immersed myself in the world of bespoke tailoring, pattern construction, and the entire design process – from initial sketches to complete collections. Numerous projects, both within and outside the academy, allowed me to explore a variety of handcraft techniques and the art of accessory making. I also gained valuable experience through photo shoots, fashion shows, and by working on historical, fantasy, and cosplay costumes.
With my final collection, I was awarded 2nd prize by the VDMD (Association of German Fashion and Textile Designers), which led to an exciting internship at the design department of Falke.
This was followed by several years in the bridal and eveningwear industry, where I worked not only in sales and alterations but also in design and the creation of new dresses and collections. During this time, I was able to further refine my craftsmanship and work with elaborate garments. I also completed my master craftsman qualification in bespoke women’s tailoring during this period.
Eager to discover even more aspects of this creative field, I entered the world of film: from 2016 to 2020, I worked first as an intern, then as a wardrobe assistant and costume design assistant for various film and TV productions – including Tatort, Helen Dorn, Terra X, and several feature films.
At the end of 2016, I also took the leap into self-employment. Since then, I’ve been lucky to bring my love of creativity and craftsmanship into a wide range of client projects – including designing and producing costumes for Heide Park Soltau and Brownbill UG, as well as working as a master tailor for several film productions.
Since 2021, I’ve been based in my studio in Oedesse. Here, I’ve expanded my portfolio to include a variety of creative and sewing workshops – and I’m grateful every day to be able to share my colorful little world with others.
